American Dream

Another weekend, another trip. This has been my approach to life lately.

I currently live and work in London. I love London, but sometimes I feel the need to escape from the buzzing lifestyle that characterizes this city (and also from its gloomy, rigid winter weather).

As a matter of fact, I love traveling. I love visiting new countries I haven’t seen before. Or I have a chance to go and visit friends abroad I just book a weekend round trip ticket and off I go.

Lately I have had few chances of traveling back to the United States to visit old friends that I met when I lived in Florida 7 years ago now scattered all over the country.

The thought of moving back to the States is always at the back of my mind. There is something about that country that fascinated me since the very first time. Maybe the yet unexplored nature, the diversity of landscapes and environments, or perhaps some of the cities I have visited have a sort of charm that simply appeals me.

I am always looking for excuses to pack my little backpack and get on a flight to the States. There are so many places I haven’t seen yet that I’d like to visit. I am merely referring to natural state parks, deserts, mountains, rivers, beaches, lakes, woods scattered all over the country, far away form cities, towns, roads.

Maybe it all comes down to the fact that I am outdoor type of person. I enjoying skiing, wakeboarding, cycling, hikingn, scubadiving, etc. (you mention it). And the States give you this all. Each State, with just few exceptions, has some sort of outdoor activity to offer. I know that there are many many more countries that can offer the same if not more of these outdoor stuff, and I can’t wait to go and discover them. but for the time being I try to enjoy what’s at my reach.

Watch this space. New adventures are on their way.
